Have you changed your projector lamp lately? Many people are unaware of the fact that projector bulbs are different from regular bulbs and need extra care. This will in fact ensure that they last longer so that you do not have to change them now and then. Projector lamps tend to get very hot when in use. Hence, a good thing will be to let it cool down sufficiently before you move the projector. This will ensure that the lamp stays intact even when it encounters slight movement. Whereas projector lamps will burst if moved hot. Cooling fans in your projector are assigned the job of cooling the projector bulb rapidly. To assist this process you can turn off your projector only after turning off the lamp. You can leave the projector power on for a few minutes so that the bulb is cooled down by the fans. Lastly, always make sure that you never change the bulb with your bare hands.
