Happy Birthday to MP3 Portable Player
How many MP3 players you have and had in the past? Let me think, I got 2 in th paste and current one at home. You may wonder why I have just a few MP3 players in my life, that’z because I always advocate for traditional CD player.
It’s already 10 years old for MP3 player. Can you imagine that? Within these 10 years of time, we pass through the era of CDs, MDs and finally to disc-less era. Below is the first MP3 player in the world, and is developed by the Korean company Saehan Informantion Systems. It is manufactured in 1998, and was known as “MPMan F10″. The storage size is only 32mb, and connects to the computers via parallel ports. It has also a tiny LCD monitor on top. Most importantly, the prize at that time was USD$250.
For you information, Compaq is the first company which implemented the hard disks into the little player in 1998, and Archos is the first company that introduce the video-playing ability into it in 2002.
